Dubai will host the world’s biggest technology and artificial intelligence exhibition, GITEX GLOBAL 2025, which will gather more than 6,800 companies and 2,000 startups from 180 countries. The event will run from October 13 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

According to the organizers, the annual event brings together global technology leaders, innovators, and policymakers to shape the future of digital transformation and AI-driven development across industries. It will also serve as a platform for new product launches, investment deals, and cross-border partnerships.

Some of the world’s leading tech giants expected at the expo include Alibaba Cloud, AMD, AWS, Dell, e&, G42, Google, HPE, Huawei, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Siemens, and Snowflake. They will be joined by other innovators such as Cerebras, Datadog, Mitsubishi, Qualcomm, Rital, ServiceNow, Tata Electronics, Telecom Italia, and Tenstorrent.

Executive Vice President of Dubai World Trade Centre, Trixie LohMirmand, said the event will highlight sectors such as data centers, biotechnology, quantum computing, and robotics, areas where technology is merging with human innovation. “GITEX GLOBAL 2025 gives new impetus to these transformative technologies while driving innovation-led progress across industries and economies,” she said.

Running alongside the main exhibition is ‘Expand North Star’, a startup showcase hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy at Dubai Harbour. The showcase, which opened on Sunday, features 2,000 startups and over 1,200 investors managing assets worth $1.1 trillion.

This year’s edition has drawn record international participation, with Brazil joining as a country partner for the first time, bringing its largest-ever tech delegation. Other key participants include the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Tech Destination Pakistan. New pavilions have also been introduced from Canada, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, and Türkiye, reflecting broader representation from Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Central Asia.

Chief Operating Officer of ApexBrasil, Tatiana Riera, described the gathering as “a great opportunity to show how Brazil is driving innovation and creating tech solutions for global challenges.” Similarly, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Marko Čadež, said Serbian startups would present AI innovations in energy, well-being, and social media analytics.

The five-day event will feature discussions among industry leaders, investors, and government officials on how to expand infrastructure, accelerate innovation, and create inclusive digital economies. It will also focus on attracting investment into emerging technologies expected to shape the next decade of global progress.

With its growing scale and diversity, GITEX GLOBAL 2025 continues to strengthen Dubai’s position as one of the world’s leading hubs for technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
