Dede Dismisses Claims of Regional Bias in BBNaija Season 10 Results, Says Imisi Deserved the Win
BBNaija Season 10 runner-up Dede Ashiogwu has dismissed claims of regional bias in the show’s outcome.
She congratulated winner Imisi, saying the results were fair and based purely on votes.
Dede Ashiogwu, the first runner-up of Big Brother Naija Season 10, has dismissed suggestions that regional bias played a role in determining the outcome of the reality show.

The “Ten Over Ten” edition ended on Sunday, October 5, with Imisioluwa Ayanwale (Imisi) emerging as the winner and walking away with the ₦150 million grand prize.
Following the finale, Ossai Ovie Success, Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, alleged on X that the show was manipulated. He claimed that Dede, a Delta State native, was unfairly denied victory because the organizers wanted to avoid another winner from the same state after Kellyrae, also from Delta, won the previous season.
In his post, Ossai argued that Dede’s performance and popularity should have earned her the top spot, even threatening legal action against the show’s organizers for what he described as “rigged voting.”
Reacting during the prize presentation ceremony held on Tuesday at the MultiChoice office in Lagos, Dede refuted the claims and congratulated Imisi, saying the results were based solely on votes.
“I don’t believe it had anything to do with the region. It’s simply about the votes, she got the highest number, and she won. She truly deserves it,” Dede stated.
Dede, who represented Delta State in the competition, also revealed plans to build a career in the entertainment and creative industries, particularly acting.
