Offset Denies Cheating on Cardi B, Admits His Mistakes Led to Their Breakup
Offset has finally broken his silence on rumors linking him to rapper Saweetie amid his split from Cardi B.
He denied the claims, admitting his own mistakes led to the marriage’s breakdown.
American rapper Offset has addressed ongoing rumors that he cheated on his estranged wife, Cardi B, with fellow rapper Saweetie.

During a candid interview with actress and singer Keke Palmer, Offset was asked directly about the allegations that he spent a night with Saweetie, claims that had circulated online for months. The rapper dismissed the story, calling it baseless and strange.
“That whole Saweetie thing was just weird,” he said. “I don’t know where that came from. It’s just one of those rumors that take off for no reason.”
Speaking about his marriage to Cardi B, Offset referred to her affectionately as “bro,” explaining that despite the media attention surrounding their relationship, his own mistakes and infidelity were what ultimately ended their marriage.
“I messed up, and it cost me my marriage,” he admitted, adding that his actions had “toppled” their nearly seven year union.
When asked about their divorce, Offset confirmed that the process is still ongoing but said both he and Cardi B believe the separation is for the best.
Cardi B has previously expressed her frustration and heartbreak over Offset’s behavior, often sharing emotional posts about their turbulent relationship. The couple, who married in 2017, had broken up and reconciled several times before filing for divorce again in 2024.
Offset also opened up about dealing with personal loss, describing the death of his cousin and Migos bandmate Takeoff as “a wound that still hasn’t healed.” He revealed that he struggled with codeine addiction after the group’s success with Bad & Boujee in 2016 but is now focused on becoming a better man and rebuilding his life.
