In a statement issued on Monday by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme said the management approved a modest ceremony to mark the end of the service year for the batch, which began its orientation course on October 23, 2024.

According to the statement, preparations for the event will begin with job advisory and counselling sessions for corps members across local government areas nationwide. The activities will also include the signing and collection of final clearance letters from Zonal Inspectors.

Embu said the NYSC Director General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all corps members and monitoring officers a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise.

The NYSC noted that the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream 1 orientation course, held from October 23 to November 12, 2024, took place simultaneously across all 37 orientation camps in the country.

The three-week training featured paramilitary drills, leadership and citizenship development, entrepreneurship training under the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) program, and community integration exercises.

After the orientation, corps members were deployed to various Places of Primary Assignment where they served in sectors such as education, health, agriculture, and other key areas, contributing to grassroots development across Nigeria.
