Morocco Defeat Argentina to Win FIFA U-20 World Cup Title
Morocco have made history by winning the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup after defeating Argentina 2-0 in the final.
Yassir Zabiri scored twice to seal the North Africans’ first-ever U-20 world title.
Morocco have won the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup after beating Argentina 2-0 in the final played early Monday at the Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos in Chile.

Yassir Zabiri opened the scoring for the North Africans in the 12th minute and added another goal shortly after to give Morocco a firm lead before halftime. The second half ended goalless as the young Atlas Lions held on to secure a historic victory over Argentina.
Morocco had earlier advanced to the final after defeating France in the semi-final, while Argentina earned their spot by beating Colombia. In the third-place match, Colombia edged France 1-0 to clinch the bronze medal.
Following the final, FIFA released the list of individual award winners for the tournament. Morocco’s Othmane Maamma was named the Golden Ball winner for best player of the competition, while USA forward Benjamin Cremaschi took home the Golden Boot as top scorer.
