“Mazi, You Will Be Out Soon”, Sowore Tells Nnamdi Kanu in Court
Omoyele Sowore met IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday.

Human rights activist and former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, met with the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, on Thursday at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

The meeting, which took place during Kanu’s ongoing trial, drew public attention after a video showing the two exchanging warm greetings went viral. In the footage, Sowore could be seen embracing Kanu and assuring him that his release would come soon, while Kanu responded with appreciation and a smile.
