Media personality and actress Marcy Dolapo Oni has shared her struggle with depression, saying she often feels overwhelmed but keeps going for her family and faith.

In a touching Instagram post titled “Depression Cannot Hit a Moving Target,” Dolapo, a mother of two, explained that she is always busy “doing and sorting” school runs, meals, and bills but rarely finds time for herself. “High-functioning, they call it. But sometimes it feels like survival dressed up as strength,” she wrote.
She admitted that even when she feels exhausted, she keeps moving because of her children and responsibilities. “I can’t take a day. I have kids after all. I have purpose that won’t let me lie down,” she said, adding that sometimes she wonders what happened to the big dreams she had in her 20s.
Dolapo ended her message with a note of hope, saying, “God doesn’t waste seasons. Even in the motion, He’s molding. Even in the sorting, He’s strengthening… Maybe I haven’t lost my path; maybe I’m just being rerouted.”
