Benue Government Sacks Lobi Stars Management Ahead of New NNL Season
Benue State Government has dissolved Lobi Stars management to restructure the club for better performance.
Officials say new leadership will ensure accountability and prepare the team for the coming season.
Benue State Government has dissolved the management board of Lobi Stars, a club competing in the Nigeria National League. The decision was announced by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Kula Tersoo, who said it takes immediate effect.

In the statement, the outgoing management was directed to hand over all documents, assets, and duties to the Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Creativity. The state government said the move is part of efforts to reorganize the club for improved performance, stronger accountability, and better results in the league.
A new leadership team will be unveiled before the next NNL season kicks off. The league is expected to resume on Saturday, November 8.
