In a video shared on Instagram, the Godwin crooner said many brilliant minds in Africa are unable to explore their gifts because they are constantly struggling to survive.

He explained that curiosity, which drives learning and innovation, cannot grow when people are hungry or worried about rent.

Using Elon Musk as an example, Korede said: “Think about this, right? Is Elon Musk going to be so concerned about space travel if his rent was due or if he didn’t know what he was going to eat tomorrow?”

He encouraged young people to imagine the possibilities if basic needs like food, shelter, and security were no longer a worry.

“If money wasn’t an issue, what would you learn? What would you think about? Because the truth is, it’s a privilege to follow your curiosity when you’re not worried about surviving,” he added.

Korede also said the most successful people in the world continue to learn on their own because they are curious about how things work.

He ended with a strong message: “When you stop surviving is when you start living. If you’re still surviving, you never get to live.”
