A young woman, identified as Christabel Aminu, has been k!lled in her residence in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Details surrounding the tragic incident remain unclear, but preliminary findings indicate that the assailant forcibly entered her home, att@cked her, and escaped with her mobile phone, jewelry, and other belongings.
Local activist, Ochiegbu Marvelous, confirmed the development on Saturday, October 25, 2025. He said a suspect was taken into custody shortly after the crime.
According to him, the alleged perpetrator was reportedly arrested while attempting to sell the victim’s stolen phone later in the day.
In a message shared online, he expressed grief over the loss and described Christabel as a colleague within their activist community, praying for her peaceful rest.
Residents of the area have since called for a thorough investigation to ensure full justice for the late Christabel and to strengthen community security measures against similar attacks.
