Police opened a m8rder case as their grieving family seeks answers and community help urgently.
A community in Tshwane, South Africa, is in shock after two young women were found shot d3ad in Mamelodi East over the weekend.

The victims, identified as cousins 22-year-old Tshiamo Moramaga and 21-year-old Baleseng Moramaga were discovered early Sunday, October 26, 2025, on Sompisi Street in Extension 17. Both had gunshot wounds to the head.
Witnesses noted that the pair wore matching outfits, white skirts and black tops, indicating they were together shortly before they were attacked.

Captain Johan van Dyk of Mamelodi East SAPS said officers arrived at the scene around 6:15 a.m., where they confirmed the d3aths and immediately opened a double m8rder case. He said detectives are still working to determine what led to the k!llings.
The tragedy has left the family devastated. Tshiamo’s mother, Itumeleng Moramaga, struggled to contain her grief as she spoke about losing her only daughter.
“She meant everything to me. My heart is broken. I only have two sons left now,” she said, describing her pain.
Relatives said some neighbors heard a disturbance and gunshots around 4 a.m., suggesting the attack occurred several hours before police arrived. A message recovered from Baleseng’s phone shows the cousins were in contact moments before the shooting, but Tshiamo’s phone has not been located and may have been taken by the attackers.
Authorities have appealed to anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or has information that could assist investigators to contact SAPS immediately.
