Jennifer Odonwodo, wife of late actor Junior Pope, shared a funny note he once wrote to borrow money.
Fans loved the post, calling it a sweet reminder of his playful nature.
Jennifer Odonwodo, the widow of late Nollywood actor Junior Pope, has shared a lighthearted memory of her husband that left fans amused.

In a post on her Instagram page, Jennifer revealed that during his lifetime, Junior Pope once wrote her a funny note to borrow money from her. She said she made him sign an agreement each time he requested cash, including the exact date, time, and repayment details.
Sharing one of such notes, Jennifer wrote, “Was going through old pictures and came across this. It put a very wide smile on my face.”
She explained that they even took pictures of the signed papers in case they went missing or were deliberately destroyed. “JP and I got to signing agreements, and also stated dates and times monies lent would be returned. We further had to take pictures of the papers in case the paper gets missing, deliberately torn or hidden by the borrower. We’d bring forth pictorial evidence,” she added.
Jennifer humorously noted that lending money to loved ones often comes with little hope of repayment. “Once you lend money to your spouse, sibling, or close family member, there’s a 90% chance that money is gone,” she joked.
She concluded by asking her followers, “Do you lend your spouse, partner, or family member money, or do you dash them? Let’s discuss.”
The post has since gone viral, with many social media users commenting that the late actor’s playful personality still shines through his wife’s fond memories.
