“It Was Looted, Not Burnt” Priscilla Ojo Clarifies Reports on Juma Jux’s Store

Priscilla Ojo has denied claims that her husband Juma Jux’s boutique was burnt in Tanzania.

She said the shop was only looted during the recent unrest, not destroyed by fire.

Nigerian actress and influencer Priscilla Ojo has addressed circulating rumors that her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux’s luxury boutique was burnt down during recent unrest in Tanzania.

The speculation began after reports surfaced online claiming that the high-end fashion store, owned by Jux, had been set ablaze amid the chaos following the country’s tense presidential election. The alleged incident quickly gained traction on social media, sparking concern among fans and supporters of the couple.

However, Priscilla has now debunked the claims, clarifying that the boutique was not destroyed by fire but was instead looted during the disturbances. She confirmed that while the incident did cause damage to the store and loss of goods, it was not as catastrophic as reported.

“The boutique wasn’t burnt; it was looted during the chaos,” she clarified in her statement.

Neither Juma Jux nor Priscilla offered additional details about the extent of the damage or any plans to rebuild.

The couple, who recently returned to Lagos after spending several weeks in Tanzania, have since remained quiet on social media. Despite the incident, fans have continued to express relief that no one was harmed and that the reports of a total loss were untrue.
