US Envoy Invites Nicki Minaj For Talks On Protecting Persecuted Christians

US Ambassador to the UN, Mike Waltz, has invited rapper Nicki Minaj to discuss global Christian persecution.

The move follows her social media post condemning attacks on Christians in Nigeria.

The United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Mike Waltz, has invited American rapper Nicki Minaj for a discussion on protecting persecuted Christians around the world.

The invitation followed Minaj’s social media post condemning the alleged persecution of Christians in Nigeria.

This came shortly after US President Donald Trump designated Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern (CPC)” over what he described as a Christian genocide carried out by Islamist groups.

Trump also ordered the US Department of Defense to prepare for “possible action” against terrorist groups operating in Nigeria.

Reacting to Trump’s move, Nicki Minaj, a 12-time Grammy-nominated artist, wrote on X that she was thankful for the religious freedom enjoyed in the United States and expressed concern over the treatment of Christians in Nigeria.

In response, Ambassador Waltz thanked Minaj for using her platform to advocate for religious liberty and extended an invitation to discuss the issue further.

He wrote: “I would love to speak with you in more depth about what our administration is doing to protect Christians’ freedoms all over the world. We can’t allow this to continue. Every sister and brother of Christ must band together and say, enough!”

Nicki Minaj is one of the most successful female rappers in the world, known for her bold style, chart-topping hits, and influence on global pop and hip-hop culture.
