Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has made headlines again after shading Afrobeats superstar Davido while praising Burna Boy’s generosity.
In a recent Instagram live session, Portable claimed that despite never meeting Burna Boy in person, the Grammy-winning artist gifted him ₦20 million without any stress. He described the gesture as genuine and heartfelt, contrasting it with Davido’s alleged lack of support for emerging artists.
“Even Burna Boy that I’ve never set my eyes on gave me ₦20 million, unlike Davido,” Portable said. “It’s not by having a rich father whose money isn’t yours; it’s by having your own. Whoever really wants to help you won’t stress you.”
