Anambra Governorship Election: Commissioner for Information Votes Early

Voting is underway across Anambra State as residents participate in the governorship election.

At Abatete in Idemili North, Information Commissioner Law Mefor voted early amid a peaceful process.

The Anambra governorship election is ongoing across the state, with voters turning out in different local government areas to cast their ballots.

Commissioner for Information Votes Early in Anambra

At Nkwo Agbaja 1, Polling Unit 023 in Abatete, Idemili North Local Government Area, the state Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, participated in the exercise. He was accredited at about 9:20 a.m. before casting his vote.

The process at the polling unit was reported to be peaceful, with officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on ground to ensure smooth voting.

Residents also commended the early arrival of electoral materials and officials.
