Regina Daniels Fires Back at Her Husband Ned Nwoko, Accuses Him of Lies and Ab8se
Regina Daniels has responded to Senator Ned Nwoko’s accusations, calling his claims false and manipulative.
She alleged ab8se and control in their marriage, insisting he used lies to damage her image.
Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has fired back at her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, after he released a lengthy statement accusing her and her family of drug ab8se and misconduct.
In an emotional post shared on Instagram on Saturday, November 9, 2025, Regina accused Nwoko of lying about her and her family, saying he had always tried to isolate her from them.
“Ned, how could you lie so openly and without even small remorse? You know my family has absolutely nothing to do with this. You have always tried to cut them off because of the bond we share, and now you are trying to make them look bad for no reason,” she wrote.
The actress admitted that she had used drugs but said that was not the issue in their relationship. She accused Nwoko of using “the drugs narrative” to distract the public from what she called “the real issue”, his alleged ab8se and control.
Regina claimed that whenever she tried to leave the marriage, Nwoko seized her phone, locked her indoors, and brought in doctors to inject her with drugs meant for people with bipolar disorder. She said he only restored her freedom when she agreed to remain in the relationship.
She also accused him of forcing himself on her against her will and encouraging her to take drugs, claiming he once told her that being high made her “sexier, wild, and romantic.”
“Why don’t you tell them how you lock me up and get doctors to inject me with drugs for people with bipolar disorder? Why don’t you tell them how you take my phones for weeks just because you hate that I talk to my family a lot?” she wrote.
Regina further stated that she had never acted incoherent or out of control, insisting that Nwoko was using false stories to damage her image.
She also revealed that their marriage was never legally recognized, saying no documents were signed in any court of law.
“Leave me alone, Ned. Marriage is not by force. Love is not by force. Stop trying to control what no longer belongs to you,” she added.
Regina concluded by expressing gratitude for finding strength despite the public controversy.
