Bishop David Abioye has shared how his wife was miraculously healed after an HIV diagnosis.
He said prayer and faith led to her recovery when a follow-up test showed a negative result.
Bishop David Abioye of the Conquerors Global Assembly has shared an emotional testimony about how his wife was miraculously healed after being diagnosed with HIV during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking during a Sunday live service, the cleric said the news came as a shock, but he refused to accept the diagnosis. According to him, faith and scriptural conviction guided his response. He immediately asked for another medical test to be conducted while he prayed earnestly for healing.
Abioye said he relied on a Bible passage that strengthened his faith, declaring that sickness had no place in his home. “During COVID-19, they said my wife had HIV. I said no, not in this body. I stood on the word of God and told them to check again,” he recounted.
He revealed that when a second test was carried out, the result came back negative. “They couldn’t find anything there,” he said, adding that “healing is not for gentlemen; you don’t nurse sickness to go, you fight it to go.”
The bishop used the testimony to encourage believers to stand firm in faith and confront sickness with prayer and conviction.
