PDP Expels Wike, Fayose, Anyanwu and Others for Alleged Anti Party Activities
PDP delegates voted to expel several key figures over actions they considered harmful.
The party said the decision would restore unity and strengthen discipline before future political activities.
The Peoples Democratic Party has removed several high profile members from its ranks over allegations of working against the party. Those affected include the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and former Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike, former Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose, and factional national chairman Samuel Anyanwu.

Their expulsion was announced during the PDP National Convention held in Ibadan on Saturday, November 15. The decision was moved by party elder Chief Bode George and received full support from delegates at the convention. Bauchi State governor Bala Mohammed seconded the motion.
The party also removed other members, including National Legal Adviser Adeyemi Ajibade, Umar Bature, AbdulRahman Mohammed, Mao Chuambuwa, George Turner, Austin Nwachukwu, Abraham Ammah and Dan Orbih.
Party leaders said the decision followed concerns about repeated actions that were believed to undermine the unity and strength of the PDP. The convention noted that the move was necessary to restore discipline and protect the party’s structure ahead of future political activities.
