Nigerian Man Arrested in New Orleans for K!lling Father, Injuring Two Sisters
A 27-year-old Nigerian man has been arrested in New Orleans for a de3dly family attack.
Police say his father was k!lled and his two sisters injured during the violent incident.
A 27-year-old man, Chukwuebuka Eweni, has been arrested in New Orleans after allegedly k!lling his father and st@bbing his two sisters during a domestic incident on Pebble Street.

Family members told WWL Louisiana, as reported by Punch, that the victim, Samuel Eweni, was a computer sciences professor at Southern University at New Orleans. They confirmed that the two injured survivors were his daughters, describing the attack as unexpected. Relatives said the suspect had a history of mental illness but had never shown violent behavior before.
According to the report, one sister has already been discharged from the hospital, while the other remains admitted but is expected to recover.
The New Orleans Police Department said Eweni was located in Jefferson Parish and placed in custody while undergoing medical evaluation. The attack occurred around 9:59pm on November 11, 2025. When officers arrived at the house, they found Samuel unresponsive with fatal st@b wounds and two other adults with injuries.
Detectives later identified Eweni as the suspect and secured an arrest warrant for one count of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will determine the official cause of de3th after completing an autopsy and notifying the family.
