Armed bandits att@cked a girls’ secondary school in Kebbi State, k!lling a vice principal.
Several students were abducted during the night raid, leaving the entire Zuru Emirate in fear.
Fear has taken over the Zuru Emirate in Kebbi State after armed bandits stormed Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School, Maga, in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area. The att@ckers k!lled the school’s vice principal and took several students away during a late-night raid.

The vice principal, Malam Hassan Yakubu Makuku, was reportedly shot dead while trying to protect the students as the armed men forced their way into the school. The exact number of girls abducted has not been confirmed, as officials have not released any details.
A resident, Murjanatu Hassan Gishiri, said the bandits moved into the area without any resistance and caused panic across the community. She said the incident left families frightened and unsure of what would happen next.
Locals have continued to mourn the vice principal, describing him as a committed teacher who always stood up for the safety and wellbeing of his students. Many residents have been visiting the school and offering prayers for him and the kidnapped children.
Security agencies have not issued a formal statement about the incident, but community members are calling on the Kebbi State Government and the Federal Government to act urgently. They want swift efforts to rescue the students, strengthen security around schools and stop further att@cks in vulnerable parts of the state.
