A disturbing video has surfaced online showing the att@ck on a branch of the Christ Apostolic Church in Eruku, located in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State. The incident happened on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, during a church meeting.
According to witnesses, the armed group stormed the church without warning and began shooting. Worshippers ran in different directions as the att@ckers fired repeatedly. Three members were k!lled on the spot before the gunmen rounded up others.
One source said, “The gunmen came in suddenly and started shooting. Three people were k!lled instantly. They gathered others at gunpoint and marched them into the bush. We still don’t know the exact number taken.” The pastor of the church was among those abducted.
After the att@ck, the group escaped through bush paths that link Eruku to nearby communities. Local residents reported that the gunmen moved quickly and avoided major roads while leaving the area.
The assault on the church happened shortly after terrorists launched a wider att@ck on the town, forcing many residents and travelers to run into the surrounding bushes for safety. The incident has increased fear in the area as families await updates on the abducted victims. Authorities have not yet confirmed the number of people taken or provided new details on the search operations.
