In her heartfelt message, Kiekie poured out her grief, revealing how unimaginable the loss feels and how unprepared she is to cope with the magnitude of the pain. “SO THIS IS LIFE?! MY ADEPERO IS GONE!!” she began in anguish. “Ahhh!!! This is too hard for me! Adepero mi, eleyi o te mi lorun o, but I hand everything to our maker!”
She recalled the devastating moment she heard the news from her sister’s husband at exactly 11:46 p.m. a moment that completely turned her world upside down. “All I wanted to do before going to bed was hear your sweet voice,” Kiekie wrote, recalling the chilling words that pierced her heart: “Kiekie, your sister passed on this afternoon.”
Kiekie described Adepero as a unique soul someone whose love could never be replaced. She reminisced about the special names her sister used to call her and the deep connection they shared. “I lived in the center of your heart, and so do you for me. Now, who will call me ‘my lover or sister girl’ the way you did?”
