Tyler, The Creator Declares He Loves Music More Than Any of His Girlfriends
Tyler, The Creator admits music has always meant more to him than any romantic relationship he’s had.
He says no girlfriend has ever matched the passion he feels for creating and listening to music.
American rapper, singer, and producer Tyler, The Creator has opened up about his deep and lifelong passion for music, claiming it surpasses any romantic relationship he has ever had. In a recent conversation shared via Instagram, the Grammy-winning artist expressed just how central music has been in his life, dating back to his earliest childhood memories.

Tyler revealed that his love for music began at a very young age and has only grown stronger with time. Unlike most children who found joy in toys, Tyler said he was drawn to CDs and the intricate details behind album creations.
“Music has never been just a hobby for me,” he said. “As a kid, I didn’t really care for toys I was fascinated by CDs. I used to love it when my mom took me to the store, just so I could sit near the CD section and read the credits. That was pure joy for me.”
He reminisced about spending time at music stores like Warehouse Music, sometimes even during birthday parties, just to be close to what he loved. His connection to music, he emphasized, is not casual or passing it’s a permanent part of who he is.
“I love music more than any girl I’ve ever dated and they know it,” Tyler admitted. “I’ve told them, I like you, but you’ll never come before music. Making music is something I want to do for the rest of my life.”
The artist’s honesty resonated with many fans, who praised his dedication and authenticity. Tyler’s declaration underscores not only his passion for his craft but also the deep emotional bond he shares with music one that has shaped his identity and career from the very beginning. As he continues to evolve as an artist, one thing remains clear: for Tyler, The Creator, music isn’t just an art form it’s a lifelong love.
