The Kaduna State Authorities on Monday imposed a 24-hour curfew on Jema’a and Kaura Native Authorities Areas of the state following the violence that claimed over 15 lives in Kagoro on Sunday evening.
The State Commissioner of Inside Safety and Residence Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who introduced this in a press release, mentioned the measure was to permit safety companies to save lots of lives and property and restore regulation and order within the areas.
The state authorities appealed to residents of Jema’a and Kaura LGA to company with safety companies with “the pressing” job of restoring peace, regulation and order.
The commissioner quoted the state governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, as condemning the violence assault within the space that left many useless, property destroyed.
The assertion titled, ‘KDSG declares 24-hour curfew in Jema’a and Kaura LGAs,’ learn, “Following recommendation from safety companies, the Kaduna State Authorities has declared a 24-hour curfew in Jema’a and Kaura native authorities areas with quick impact. That is to help the safety companies to stabilize the scenario within the areas, save lives and property and allow the restoration of regulation and order.
“An announcement from the Ministry of Inside Safety and Residence Affairs mentioned that that safety companies have full authorization to implement the curfew. Authorities appeals to all residents of Jema’a and Kaura native authorities areas to cooperate with the safety companies within the pressing job of restoring peace and upholding regulation and order.
“Authorities condemns the violence and all acts of lawlessness which have occurred within the space.
“Additional updates will likely be issued as obligatory.”
