THE Chairman, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Improvement Fee, Mr Michael Diden, popularly known as Ejele has reportedly escaped being lynched allegedly by youths in Burutu Native Authorities Space of Delta State.
Our correspondent gathered that the incident occurred on Saturday in Burutu throughout a gathering of the Peoples Democratic Social gathering forward of the celebration primaries over his senatorial ambition.
Ejele who can also be the Chairman, Delta Political Vanguard, had on March 19, 2022, endorsed an aspirant towards the Ijaws aspirant.
The purported endorsement of what they known as ‘the anointed aspirant of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’ for governor allegedly angered stakeholders of Ijaws.
Sources current on the assembly stated hassle began when some youth leaders, Tamar Forteta, Ayapaye Brendan and Ebi Agbor raised their palms to ask him (Ejele) if he would help an Ijaw son to be governor, since he’s aspiring to take over the seat from Ijaw folks at present holding Senate seat.
